Oh man I'm sorry that sucks dude. I would've been so pissed. That's pretty much the reason why my gf doesn't ever ever ever drive my car. I'm afraid of her doing something to it. Mine isn't anything close to pushin 300hp yet! Yeah if your gonna get another motor you might as well spend the money to build it up while its out of the car!

Yeah I know, I'm saying screw the 7bolt and going with the 6bolt. I can get a 6bolt with tranny for about 2200 shipped and w/o tranny 1800shipped, but then there is the installation. I would have had the car up and running, but I keep spending money on my damn fish tank. Two expensive hobbies are hard to keep up and running.

i used to have an AWD dsm, ran a big 28, full boost at 3000 rpms and hit like a frieght train, but top end just wasnt in it. Street wise it was almost unstoppable from a stop, vipers, ferraris, cobras and all the real nice cars took a good beating, unless it was from about a 60 mph and beyond. Ran a 12.71-106 with it, other than the huge fmic ud never know, great sleeper car.
Now i went to the dark side and got a 02 scooby wrx, havent run it yet, but not much going on with it yet, still nice and reliable.
oh yeah and i think i remember someone saying how lag is bad, and its just not true, it all depends on what you want, having a car that hit at 3000 rpms and then driving many modded cars like supras and rx7s that dont hit till 5k rpms, i gotta say the top end is where its at, theres nothing like the feeling that the back of the seat is going to break off at 120 mph. The upgrade for my scooby is gonna be for top end this time, when theres lag then ur just in the wrong gear

its not anuff said what i think is inpressive is a 4 banger or 2 banger put down some times that v8s are knocking off. but if u have a big block car it better move or thats sad. im more inpressed if a small block cracks off a 8-9sec pass than a biig block. sorry but big block sound amazing butt they better move
