caulerpa problems

everything but caulerpa is growing in my fuge. it keeps going sexual, after a week. lights 8watt power compact. low flow not sure exactly ? lights on 24/7 ph 8.2 am0 trates 15 trites 0 i have tried to iodine. feather caulerpa is growing 1/2in per day in my nano reef. lights on 10hrs. help???

Is it going sexual, or is it just dying? Does it grow at all?

it goes sexual. no growth at all

Do you do regular water changes? If so how much and how often? If not, a shortage of Fe (iron) or I (iodine) could be causing your problem. Resent test have shown shortages in these elements can cause caulerpa to go sexual. If however you do regular reasonable water changes this should not be a problem. You would get those elements in your mix water.

You said that you have light on 10 hours? The light are suppose to be on 24/7 in your fuge, that could be your problem!

the lights in my fuge are on 24/7. the lights in my nano reef are only on 10hrs and i have caulerpa growing in there
