Not really celebrity but I despise Paul Schaefer from the David Letterman show. I just want to poke my own eyes out, and jam pencils in my ears everytime I see him.
See now Paul Shaffer doesn't bother me very much, but Kevin Eubanks just makes me want to scream.

I hit mute every time paul schaefer plays that stupid keyboard, and just laugh at what an ass he makes of himself.

An actor I hate is Decaprio. I don't go watch movies with him in them at all.
I don't like him either. I dislike his prius-driving, I'm-better-than-you attitude. Not to mention his "I'm an expert on global warming" mentality.
Let's go ahead and add Al Gore to the list. I just love how he found a way to capitalize on global warming and further his and the left's politcal agendas at the same time.

No argument here. Just thinking about him makes me glad I don't have TV any more.

Good for you. It's exactly what I was going to say. The few people I know that don't have t.v.'s are generally more productive. What made you decide to get rid of the T.V. ??

9, 16, and a 17 year old. My 17 yr old was given the option to graduate early and declined.
All 3 are honor roll students.
Any more assumptions?
Good for your kids...and smart choice for the 17 year old...One of my daughters had that choice and also declined...she graduated at 17 cause her b'day was September, and had she taken the offer she would have been 16

She was valedictorian too

It was actually part of a financial decision several years ago. Upon moving to Oceanside from Dayton, Ohio we found ourselves monetarily drained from the move. The community we moved into had a $100 deposit to set up the dish. This allowed us to break contract with Dish Network without fees. That alone saved $50 monthly. After a couple months we were going to pay the $100 and resubscribe to satellite tv. During that time we went to the park more often, started reading again, took day trips as a family, engaged in conversation more often and a host of other things. About a year later my daughter was on the Channel 7 morning news with her katate demo team. We had some friends record it for us. The commercials that aired between the segments were appalling. We realized just how much garbage we had been inviting into our living room every day when we had tv. We have not considered outside TV influence since. We own a TV and dvd player, Playstation, Game Cube, wii, but have no antenna (we did buy an antenna to watch the recent Presidential election results), cable or dish. We no longer sit in our living room and stare at a black box like zombies.
