T.crocea are rock dwelling, rock boring clams and should be in the rockwork. If you can find a rather cupped rock to nestle it into about mid tank with your lighting would do well me thinks. The brain should be on the sandbed.

Really nice tank!!! The rocks are set up perfectly so the fish have plenty of room to swim out into the open...really awesome!!!

Tank looks great. How do you keep the silicon corners in your tank so clean for a tank that is 5 years old. My corners are covered in corralinne like crazy

Leave the brain where it is. Also, if I were you, I'd move the pool table away from the tank just in case someone decides to play some pool. lol The tank looks great BTW!

we have had the pool table there for about three years now. we are very carefull when we play, but i can count on one hand how many times we have played on it............... also to the post ive had this tank setup for about five years, 4 years have been fish only and just the past year i have been changing over to reef..... i have to say corals is the way to go
im always cleaning the glass and i do a water change every week....... i just like it as clean as i can get it.......

You could always move the powerhead temporarily....or put something over it...like a piece of pantyhose.....

It looks like you have the same shape tank as me! What are the dimensions? Mine is 4ft long, 2 feet wide and 30inches tall..
I've only ever seen another like it, and I believe this one is as well..Beautiful tank! Mine is nowhere as pretty as yours, it's still a work in progress. %h
