Chinese Messing up the USA national anthem on Purpose?

Michael Phelps was just up there receiving his Gold Medal they played the most abstract version of the song I have EVER HEARD, repeating some of the same versus AND worse of all CUTTING the song completely short by abruptly CUTTING OUT "and the home of the brave" Im sure they must have people going over these types of things. How Disrespectful, Suspicious and Suspect!

On a semi-related note, did anyone else not like that version of the anthem? They played a long intro, and I had a hard time picking up where the song actually started.

yup 7 more tries to get it right for Phelps. When I was watching it i was like wtf is that? come on now, u couldnt even sing along with the tune of it

I never called you ignorant Alix. In fact, based on the posts of yours I've read you come across as being very intelligent.
That said, posting on a non-political thread and calling the President of the United States a "chimp" certainly doesn't do you justice.

As much as I would like to blame this on the Chinese government I have to think it was just a stupid mistake. Although I didn't hear it because I made a choice not to watch any of them this year.

You notice the two American flags hoisted up and two of our athlete's standing there to recieve their medals? So cheering for that makes people chimps in your eyes just because they screwed up the anthem. Looks like there were a lot of chimps in the crowd. I think Journey gave you way too much credit.
