It was the original. I watched it in Spanish because I was curious how much I could understand. Johnny Depp's version scares the living hell out of me. I mean, if I was the target audience...8-11?...I would be having nightmares for months. Like the part when the squirrels attack that poor child. Why

It looks like you put the icing on while it's still hot. lol But, as long as it tastes good that's what counts.
I can honestly say you're doing a better job about baking than my brother did at your age. He made sugar cookies for Christmas one year and the recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups of sugar. My brother read it wrong. Well, the cookies made it out of the oven. He decorated them with icing and candy. They looked great. I ate one and about DIED!!!! He had put 1 1/2 cups of SALT!!!! I gagged for hours! lol Keep up the good work.

I was watching Willy Wonka in Spanish and developed a sweet tooth. I decided to make some chocolate cake.
So I find this recipe and decide that I'll cut everything down. So I cut everything down and ran into some problems with like a quarter of an egg, etc. So after that I decide that I might as well make it in the microwave.
I look for the ingredients and run into some more problems. No coco, so I use hot chocolate, no canola oil, so I use vegetable oil. No chocolate chips, so I use m&ms.
Okay, not too bad, it will still work. So I mix it all up in not a bowl...but a coffee cup

I go to add some vanilla extract. I tell myself just a tinee tiny bit and end up accidentally adding like 2 teaspoons. I said screw it with the egg and just added the whole thing.
I throw this into the microwave for 3.5 minutes. It comes out smelling DELICIOUS.
I throw it on a plate and take a bite. It tastes like a sponge. I try to swollow it, but can't. So I threw up.
Now I'm attempting to clean up a spongy nasty mess and a pool of vomit.
Can someone teach me how to make chocolate cake?

First lesson of cooking is get a recipe and follow it to the letter.
That said, here is a really tasty delight you may like.
Get a small tub of sugar free cool whip, a small box of sugar free instant pudding (any flavor you like), a small box of sugar free jello ( any flavor that tastes good with the pudding you choose (example chocolate pudding and raspberry jello) mix it all together with 1 half cup of 2% milk. Pour the mixture into a readymade gram cracker or Oreo pie crust. Chill and eat!
If you don't watch your weight get reg cool whip, pudding and jello mix with whole milk.
This stuff is so good, and you don't have to bake anything.

Sounds awesome...
Can I ask a stupid question? What's jell?

I didn't see you add M&Ms, like you said at first??? Or is that the second time you made throw up pie?
I love m&ms. By far my favorite candy. I go through withdrawals without them. It has gotten so bad, I spend 7 bucks a week on them and started eating them in class even.
The very first time I made it...and it was GROSS, I added some. Then I decided to not be wasteful and just eat the m&ms.

I think cake is gross. Some store made cake is OK, the vanilla sheet cake with all the flower frosting, yum.
