Boy do I also hate it when we take fish out of the ocean and put them in a little holding area for our pleasure and they refuse to act like we demand, whats their problem anyway ?

Chromis usually end up not schooling together after a while. Meowzer is lucky lol (but my clowns host anemones

). Anyways, Chromis usually end up beating each other up for dominance, they're not the greatest for schooling in the home aquarium. Keep in mind that they don't always use the most humane methods to catch these fish in the wild and a lot die over time because of this. I really think that Meowzer has tank bred/raised Chromis (or lots of luck).
Anthias are a much better choice if you want fish that school, as well as Firefish added at the same time (especially purples) or Cardinals. Anthias are more difficult to take care of and some species are harder than others. I had Dispars, Ignitus and Purple Queens that were horrendous. I have 3 Female Lyretails right now and they're by far the prettiest and easiest Anthias I've owned thus far.
A lot depends on what else is in your tank right now. What is your stock list?
These are part of my very first fish to my tank....Added August 2008
....they have always acted this way....
