chromis schooling

How many green chromis will it take to school. I was thinking about 5 but i'm not sure.

i have 2 and there almost always together the lfs here has about 15 in a tank and they stay together

I've never seen them not "school" in any tanks at lfs's.

I had 3 and they schooled. From 2 or more, green chromis seem to shoal, if you want you can have 5 but first consider your fish you have now, stocking level, and that a hierarchy does establish between even the peaceful green chromis. It will just be for dominance and probably will not be aggressiveness you see in other species of damsels.
