Clams and pyramid snails

I have had two ultra maxima clams for 5 months or so and have always been looking for the dreaded pyramid snails on them. I have never seen any nor do I really know what I am looking for. My question is how big are they and where do I look for them on the clam. TIA!!

They look like a small grain of rice. Very white with a tightly spiraled long shell.
