I thought you were saying it was cycleing my bad.,
I have tried everything over and over to get one to live over the years I can keep just about everything else alive just not shrimp. I have even tried just throwing them into the water to a 1-2-3-4 hour acclimation with no luck. so instead of killing another one the only way I buy my shrimp now is peeled and devained LOL

I would go for the cleaner .. I have 7 peppermints, 3 cleaners, and 1 fire shrimp all in the 210 gallon .. I would go with the cleaner .. most active shrimps in my tank .. fun to watch and whenever i stick my arm in to clean the tank or do something else all the cleaners jump on my arm and "clean" me . hah .. it felt weird first and startled me but after you get used to it it's cool

I don't think you will any problem adding another cleaner of any size. I have 2 cleaners and a fire shrimp. The 2 cleaners are always out and about but the fire shrimp hides except at feeding. I don't think the fire shrimp is much harder to keep then cleaner.

You can keep fire & cleaners in the sme tank known probelm. I have one of each in my 50 gal. and they get a long fine. I'm thinking about adding one more of each. They are fun to watch.

I have three skunk cleaners in my 180, They all three hang on the same rock waiting for my sailfin to swim by, Then all three run up on the sailfin and start working. In about a minute they all run off and the sailfin swims away. It is so funny to watch,
(reminds me of that movie "Shark Tale") The car (fish)wash scene.

i have a coral banded shrimp that cleans and hes molted twice over the last 2 1/2 months. although he is territorial sometimes towards fish ( hes a badass ). iverheard and seen people have more than one cleaner in a tank on several occasions, although the tanks were at least a 55g

my CBS is the exact same way, even with the molting... he molted his second time in 1 1/2 months just 2 days ago...interesting...
