cleaning a used tank...help!!!

I have a 30 gal and 55 gal saltwater tanks. Someone has given me a 110 gal tank with stand. I was told that it was a saltwater tank when they purchased it used but they never had the money to start their own. I asked if it had been used for anything else while they had it, and was told no. Well when we picked it up this afternoon, it looks like it has sat dry for a long time and it had specs of wood chips in it. Now I'm worried that they might had used it to house an animal of some type. How can I clean it so that I can use it for an up grade??? I've read on other sites use 1 tsp of bleach to a gal. of water or use vinegar and water. I know not to use soap or any cleaning fluids, but I definitely want to be sure no pet "residue" is left....any ideas??

I would fill it up nad let it soak with bleach water.....then empty rinse...refill with a dechlorinator and let that soak...rinse rinse rinse
and you should be good to go

How long should I let it soak in bleach water and in the dechlorinator?

When I did my 29G, I let it soak a couple of hours with each...this is bigger.....so maybe 3 or 4 hours....I really don;t know if the size matters though can't hurt

Just begging for a dirt joke here....
Anyways I agree with letting it sit for a few hours.
