This is awful news. I've been really enjoying your posts and pictures of your horses.
Very sorry for your loss.

Oh wow, I am so sorry. I was just trimming up the macros in a few of my tanks last night trying to to stir up too much. It's definitely a gamble we take with the horses. Bristleworms, flatworms, aptasia, etc, all of them can be so dangerous but so can removing them. I am bouncing back and forth between sterile, bare bottom tanks, and more natural environments, both have their pluses and minuses for sure.
If there is every anything I can do, please let me know.

I have never had flat worms, and I hope I never do...how did you get them, do you know what they came on to get in your tank?

I have no clue. The only thing I can think of is eggs. I redid my tank a while a go and added a piece of dry rock. They showed up after that.

You would say that...I just added a chunk of dry rock becuase I'm so worried about introducing bad things in the tank

Any idea what th eggs look like...I know you don't...I'm off to Google...............I found a picture and posted it for all to be able to see. LOL...I had seen 3 red dots on a rock attached to my back wall and began to panic. I thought they were just coraline dots until you said eggs. Panic attack is over.
