I put salt mix in my aquarium and now on the bottom in several spots there is a clear oil slowly moving around.

Welcome to the boards!! That isn't clear oil, it is your salt mix disolving. Saltwater is more dense than freshwater and when the two mix it is visible in this way.

Don't put salt mix in your aquarium. It's not oil. It's a diffraction gradient cause by high salinity beneth low salinity.

When the salt is fully mixed you will not see it anymore. That is just what it looks like when saltwater and freshwater are mixed. Later when you do freshwater top offs you will see the same thing when you add the fresh to your saltwater.

It fine to add the salt to the fresh water in the aquarium only the first time before anything else is added to the tank. After that when you do water changes you need to mix the water and salt in eith buckets or a big trashcan used only for that purpose.

If it was oil it would be on the top since oil floats on water. Its just the salinity difference you see, which sort of forms layer(s) until its mixed thouroughly.
