Looks nice! My idea would be fill it with some water, fish and corals. But that's just me.

What type of lights did you get with it?

No id leave it empty....if u wanna get rid of it for cheaper than u got it..... or you could fill it up and use it for a dunk tank when the kiddies and wife arent behaving....okay ill shut up!
Nice tank man.....do u have a reef currently...
cuz i really really wanna do a predator tank and thats about the right size!
just my opinion.
Nice stand btw. Does the bottom kinda wave like it looks in the pic?

Thanks guys! I had a tank before I moved but I sold everything and then I saw this deal and could not resist.
No wife, No kids...lol
Yes the bottom is kind of wavy. I will get better pics soon.
I got it for 900.00. Lights etc not sure. I have not even opened them up yet everything is still in the packaging.

I also saw a guy on you tube who did diy plumbing etc on his tank, looked pretty good. I'll have to find the link.

I've dabbled a little bit with the diy overflows. Some designs work better than others. I think you'll be a heck of a lot happier just drilling the tank though and installing an external overflow. In my opinion there is no such thing as a fail safe siphon style overflow system. That tank is too nice not to drill.

I say either a reef or a predatory, depending on your budget.
A 265 gal reef would be EXPENSIVE! (but extremely cool)

Well, i got it set up sunday night....the basic set up for now until I figure out background, etc but I wanted to at least get it started so it can run. It took forever to fill up with water!
I washed the sand before putting it in the tank and the water was only a little cloudy but that was mainly from all of the salt. It's crystal clear just about now.
I also did the diy sump.....worked like a charm and no problems at all. I have the water going through 4 chambers in the sump and it is filtered 4 times. I guess that is why it cleared up so fast.
The light has all different color lights in it and built in exhaust fans, led lights, etc.
I have not put the canopy on yet until everything is completely done.
More to come....

Lookin great!
What protein skimmer have you planned?. The light it came with is good for starters but will need more for any corals, and ALOT more for sps. Are you doing liverock or dry-base rock?
You've got it on the run though!
