Clown constipation I think

My clown has constipation since it is about 1 inches long. I have 5 different kinds of food and he only eats brine for whatver reason.
I feed F1, F2, mysis shrimp, brine, prime reef and OSI marine flakes. All different each day. Also soak for 15 to 20 with garlic and chemi vitamins.
So how to I get rid of this constipation on this little guy?
I have heard something about epsom salts but do not know the process .
Any help?

ok, but he/she does not seem to eat the other items. Goes in their mouth like they want to eat it but them spits it back out........
I do not know what else to make them eat. Maybe not feed for two days?
With the vitamins and garlic you would think they would eat more since it is soft?

I stand by my original recommendation.
Natural foods like krill and saltwater zooplankton should get them back in working order. Brine Shrimp are not on the menu of any type of wild reef fish.

Good, I just bought some zooplankton. I tried it once and he never ate it but I will try that tomorrow. I will also get some krill tomorrow.
I never tried zooplankton. I got it for $1.99 from another site. It is mostly water but this is my first time with it.
I will try feeding tomorrow. Can I still use the vitamins and garlic or hold off for a few?
Thanks!

We're not on the same page. To me Zooplankton are the tiny animals that live in the water column. The Zooplankton I have purchased are just netted animals that have been frozen and ready to feed.
I've never seen a Garlic Clove on a reef either....

This is what I bought the other day.
This all-natural food for fish and invertebrates is available for salt and freshwater. Zooplankton is primarily cultured Daphnia; it also has a naturally high moisture content that duplicates the fishes' natural diet in the wild and is superior to dry food diets. The high astaxanthin content also helps enhance the color of aquarium fish. 3.5 oz.
It is usually $9 a bottle at ***** since we go for our 3 dogs and over $12 at the LFS. But I got it for $1.99. I figured why not, for $1.99
Lastly, I use the liquid garlic about once per week but that I guess is on a personal basis.

I'm sorry. For some reason I can't get my point across.
Let me try another angle.
Saltwater fish are very adaptable and will live on junk food for years and years. But when trouble comes and they have an ailment it's best to switch to food natural to them to help them get over their problem. Foods natural to Clownfish include small saltwater crustaceans, saltwater algae, eggs from saltwater animals, larvae of saltwater animals, and small fish. If you stick to this list for just a couple weeks it will help them fight disease and/or help them heal wounds.
Personally, I stick to this list full time but I don't believe that's totally necessary.

You are correct I just wondered what the differance was between what you feed (frozen) and my water one.
Also not going nuts but do you have an example of crustaceans or larvae of saltwater?
thank you and sorry for being a pain.

Oh, you're not a pain. I'm just not choosing the right words.
The Zooplankton in your picture are Daphnia. They are a freshwater crustacean. Probably pretty good food but probably lacking in the HUFA's and Enzymes found in the Saltwater Equivalient - Copepods. The Zooplankton I use are saltwater animals. Krill are another prime example. Mysid Shrimp, Prawn Eggs, Blenderized fish, squid, scallops, shrimp, nori, etc.

Should I not feed him for a few days or feed him today? I went to the LFS and they only had planton and krill. No zooplanton.
Should I start with the mysis shrimp then go to krill the next day.etc?

Cool thanks...Quick question...Why would my tang keep going in the same corner of the tank and keep extending his fins and hitting his tail on the glass?????

My clownfish go nuts over "Liquid Life Marine Plankton". It's made from cyclop-eeze which is some sort of plankton found in the antarctic I believe. They're full of nutrition because they had to adapt and be able to store food in the conditions they were living in.
It's a little pricey at around $19 a bottle, but it's worth it IMO. Try to find an LFS that has one since it's frozen and ordering online would entail insane shipping fees.
Bang suggested this food to me and it's been awesome so far.

Cool and I will look for that. I was on my LFS last night for some meds for my yellow tang and boy they are cluless!
Never mind the extremely high prices! Unreal how these people stay running.
