Not much has changed except for the eyes becomming more obvious. I have not lost as many eggs as I expected... perhaps it will be a good sized batch after all.

Interesting to note:
The hair algae is beginning to grow on the rock. I believe this is because the Clownfish don't allow any snails on the rock.

How long until you move them into the fry tank? And I'm with m.rogers... how are the little guys from the first batch doing?

I can see white stripes on them. Most of them are gone :( I think I weaned them off of Rotifers too fast.

No, it's an Ocellaris. For the longest time I thought it was a Percula too. I was just recently corrected.

Beats me. I've read it's the number of spines on the dorsal fin. That's why I thought I has Percula because they both have just 9.

how long did you keep the clowns on rotifers?? I usually keep them on them for about 2 weeks, then weem them to newly hatched brine fed 5 times a week. Where did you get the rotifers from? was it a place in Florida? My rotifers have nearly crashed from exhaustion.

How often do you change the water in the fry tank? How big is it, you need only about 3 to 5 gallons of water for about 150 clowns. Do 1 gallon water changes daily.

Thank you Reefcrazed. I'll absorb any information you care to share.
In Clownfishes Joyce suggested 5 - 7 days and that's what I followed. I'll try 14 this time and see if that improves things.
I have a constant drip that exchanges about a gallon an hour. The discarded water leaves through a sponge filter. I siphon detritus off the bottom daily. I have about 6 gallons of water in a 10 gallon tank. The sides of the tank are covered with black plastic to make the Rotifers easier to see.

Do they show any aggression toward each other? Do they take turns guarding and resting? This is really cool.

what kind of setup do you have to culture the fry and the food? Do you have a large multiple tank setup or something?
