What will happen if you leave them in there? How long an will they hatch? If they do? What are you supposed to do if you were going to keep them?

Ok, this is just getting weird.

So the last batch got eaten by the anemone, or so I think.

Came home from work tonight to find that they spawned AGAIN! Is that even possible? She laid eggs a week ago!
The first batch was 19 days apart, these are 11 days apart. I really wanted to save batch three, but are these eggs even healthy enough?

My tank is rediculous right now.

My PJ Cardinals spawned, my snails lay eggs like crazy and this is the third time my clownfish have spawned in three weeks. Also, those little stomella snails were squirting out their "stuff" the other night.

I believe many of this may be do to the addition of rotifiers to the tank.

Whatever it is, I told my husband that I'm not sticking my hand in the 155. I have more than enough little babies, don't need a human one

cool well you can wait 2 days Ive read up and they should stay in the tank till before hatch time
Yes, I know. I have the timing down on the eggs. They spawn in the afternoon and the eggs hatch around 3am in 7 days from the time they're laid. I have no intentions on removing the eggs. If I do decide to save any of these fry, I will wait til they hatch, shine a flashlight at the top of the water and scoop out what I can with a fish bowl.

Don't shine any light on the eggs before they hatch or they tend to not hatch at all.

That I know. But once they hatch, won't they come to the surface if all the lights are off in the tank and I use a small flashlight?

I finally responded, sorry for the delay.
Thank you :) I just needed to know if it was even going to be worth timing this hatch or not.

I think I have the timing down for when they hatch (fingers crossed, this will be my first attempt).

My plan is to turn down my MP40w to 10% and turn off filtration that evening around 1am. I'm not concerned with trying to catch them all, but if I can get a few and at least try this round, I think I can get a feel for it all.

I am moving by Christmas, do you think the move will cause them to stop spawning?
