I finally decided that my tank looks decent enough to show some pictures.
I guess it's time to start a diary of my progress, for me and for all.
It's a 29 gallon biocube, stock lighting, with modified filtration including a refugium in back. This tank was started this year in May.
Fish:
1 Clown (Mocha...not very dark...hope he gets darker)
Inverts:
1 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Emerald Crab
1 Anemone Crab
3 hermits
various snails
Coral:
2 Frogspawn
1 Acan Lord (Purple/pink and green)
1 Green Polyp Leather
1 Blue Mushroom (even though to me...he looks purple...
)
I'll start with some of the tank when I first started it...and then move forward to how it looks now.

Looking good keep it up! really this tank has been up since only May?
Thanks! And yup, I got the tank on April 25th. It sat for a few days until I started the cycle in May. Previously, it was set up no fish or coral but it did have really pretty coralline on all 4 walls. (the guy used it for coral at one point in time but never added fish) It came with the sand, and that one large piece of LR that you see in the back middle of the tank. I'm thankful that some of the coralline stayed. If you look at the back wall, all the whitish stuff is die off. But thankfully, there is still some purple covering the back wall, that made it.
When I first set it up with more LR, I used rock that came from my old SW tank. It was all dead, all white! (the 7th picture shows how white the rocks were! and now, that is the same rock that the frogspawn is on in pics 10, 11 and 12) I powerwashed it and added it. Now, they are covered in Green! (Which I love!) The side view shows the best view of the green.
I hope to get more purple on the rocks...but for now, the green is nice. It's better than white.

Very nice....amazing what you have done in such a short time
Thanks meowzer! I really feel like it's been slow...but I think that's because of the set back I had with my clown. Now that he's back in there, it looks much more like an aquarium.
