Co2

Okay please guide me in the right if wrong. high CO2 in your system can lead to low levels of Calcium. Red slime feeds off of CO2. Am I correct there? I am having and issue stablizing my calcium lately. A month ago I had no issue keeping my levels stable, Ca 450/ alk 11. I am using b-ionic and can't seem to get my Ca/Alk levels anywhere close to normal. I have also had small outbreaks of red slime here and there. My Ca doesn't rise above 350 and my alk is very low. I have good gas exchange via skimmier/ ph aggitating water surface/fans. I have roughly 22X turnover. Is there a kit to test for CO2? If you believe this is causing my situation, how can I lower the CO2? I am open to any other conclusions. Please help, my Frogspawn has about 10 new branches growing and I don't want to hinder this growth.
Thanks

I doubt the problem is CO2.
What is you tank PH, temp, and Salinity?
Magnesium is a likely problem but B-Ionic should be replenishing that.

Temp : 80-81
Salinity : 33ppt in process of raising to 35ppt
pH: 8.0-8.2 depending on time of day
Would B-Ionic 2 part adjust Mag levels? I am ordering a test kit(no LFS in town has any) and intend to purchase some ESV mag additive.

Yep.
Have you tried a series of large water changes? Are your test kits current?
