Hey guy this is my first coco worm. I noticed that where the feathers come out of the tube it has athick redish(inside colour of the worm) ring around it. It was never there it use to be all white. Does this means its growing?

Okay. It never use to stick out that far from the white shell. So I was thinking it was growing and th white shell would eventually catch up

The added material means the Coco worm is expanding its tube. This doesn't mean the Bristleworm itself is actually growing.

Phylum Annelida or segmented worms our tank worms are more then likely of the subclass Sedentariea. Or Errantia. They are polychateta meaning having many bristles. Tubeworms are in the Sedentariea subclass and bristle worms in the Errantia. Never question Bangs knowledge

Isnt the tube apart of the worm as a whole? Not just the feathery stuff that comes out of the tube?
I hope the tube doesnt grow to large since its only a 10g tank lol
