Cod Liver Oil

I think bang posted once about cod liver oil encouraging clowns/cardinals to spawn if it is mixed into their food. I ask because i cant get my clowns to spawn. I've had em (true percs) for about a year and a hlf now and I really want them to. My water is great, pretty coinstant light cycle and feeding, but still nothing. Any pointers?

Cod Liver Oil may be a contributing factor. I don't know for sure. Do NOT use a lot or you'll have an oil slick. Do not use it without a skimmer or you'll have an oil slick.
Have you tried saturation feeding?
