That's a very good example...That was the year USC blew Illinois off the field and Georgia destroyed Hawaii, right? Love the "tradition" of the Rose Bowl, but wouldn't mind seeing different teams, I'm sure Crypt will pipe in with "Ohio St beat Oregon this year", but the Big 10 has been dismal this past decade in the Rose Bowl.

Pac 10 plays big ten in the Rose Bowl. Thats the way its been for years. Dont start making up theories. Kirk Big Ten sucks.

Yep but once OSU went to the NC game the Rosebowl had it's pick and was under no obligation to pick a Big 10 team.
As far as I am concerned the Big 10 was the toughest BCS conference this year. Damn good turnaround considering how bad they have done in recent years.
