I live in reality. You live in La La land. It was laughable for two games and some self respect for the others. Keep telling yourself its the best from top to bottom. If thats what you need to sleep at night.
You made the arguement how great the pac 10 is and made the arguement how great the were in Bowl games. Im just having fun with it. The Pac 10 is a bunch of average schools playing against average school and getting beat. You said the Pac 10 average school would beat another conferences upper tier school. Yes that happens all the time in any conference.
So they have had a poor showing in the Bowl Games this year, they are now 11-8 over the last 3 years, that's the way the ball bounces. Your vaunted SEC is a bad FG kicker for Northwestern from being 2-4 as well. The Pac is definitely better this year top to bottom than last year when they went 5-0. Fact is 70% of the conference played in a Bowl game this year.
You would have had to google it just to see who was in the Pac 10 before this argument started, from your little snake hole in your Mom's basement out East.

Wait until next year's preseason rankings come out. Oregon and USC will be top 10, and the Pac will have either 5 or 6 in the top 25, possibly including my U Dub Husky's with Jake Locker back. I will bet you an Angel on that; Opps forgot you can't keep angels in your nano tank anymore, maybe a cool Goby or something.

LOL I have mini angels. The two most gorgeous ones together at that! One day I grow up I will have that bigger tank. Again have the money not the space. Oh and my mom died champ. I own my own house. You didnt know that but its cool. I did mom jokes when I was 14 also.
11-8 over the past 3 years isnt good. 3 more games you are .500 in bowl games. Not very impressive. Im not saying the Pac 10 isnt that good. Im saying that giving you crap is so much more fun. I was rooting for Oregon last night. I like their outfits and cant stand and I mean I cant stand Ohio State. Its not the Ohio State either tards. Miami already has that saying. I have said it before that USC is one my favorite teams to watch in all of sports.
I loved your passion for that conference. I just think its great how they went down in a blaze of glory.

I am a big PAC fan but you are on crack if you think the conference is better this year than last. Last year the top 5 teams were obviously better than this year
Oregon beat a damn good Oklahoma state team
USC Beat Penn State a lot worse than the score indicated
Cal beat Miami.... OK, not much of a challenge there.
Arizona beat BYU Another good team
Oregon State beat Pittsburgh, barely
Look at this year
Oregon state gets blown out by BYU
Stanford Played a good game against Oklahomely
Arizona got blown out by Nebraska
USC had a decent win against BC but come on, last year they you have scored that many points in the first half on any team in the ACC
UCLA done good, look for them to have a good team next year but still, it was Temple and had the D not came through in the end (YOU HEAR THAT CRYPT? D E F E N S E) they could have just as easily lost
Oregon played well against OSU, just wasn't up for the challenge
Cal loses to Utard

I hate Ohio but aint overly fond of Oregon either. Could that state's schools choose two more lame mascots? Not saying that Ohio's mascot isn't even worse, just saying.
I've been following USC since John McKay which is also why I have always had a soft spot for Tampa Bay in the pros, the team JM helped create. Heck, closest I got to attending USC was fixing a photocopier on campus once

Reefraff how is the Nike "swoosh" LOL, a lame mascot for Oregon? They sold out to Phil Knight long ago and he has a huge influence on the program. Oregon also has one of the ugliest home crowds you will ever find and if your wearing the opposing team colors and they win, you are facing an Escape from New York scenerio to leave the stadium and parking lot.
No matter how bad they suck, Oregon State is still the better program in the state from a fans point of view.

You mean an Oregon home game is a lot of a Chiefs fan watching a game in Oakland

Any given Saturday Pal, ie. I don't think you can base it only on "Bowl" results.....The conference has been far deeper this year.
USC is far worse than last year
Oregon, Oregon St. and Cal about the same the last 2 years
Washington, Stanford, UofA, UCLA...FAR better this year.
ASU and Wazzu sucked both years.
The level of play at QB this year in the Pac 10 has been unprecedented, even by their standards.
Bowls are important, but not the only thing.

Yeah but last year all the QB's were hurt and the teams still did better.

Andrew Luck didn't play for Stanford....I can't prove it, but I think Canfield played drunk for Oregon St against BYU.

You see how the Mighty SEC is proving what a superior conference they are? Arkansas beats eastern Mich by 3, Ol Miss wins an 11 turnover fiasco largely due to a gift by the officials but the conference is soo much better than the rest

But now we have to listen to how a team that almost lost to Tulsa could/should/would/might have been in the National Championship game. Let me reiterate, almost lost to Tulsa. I give props to Boise State, they are good, but I won't give them serious props until they play in a major conference, or a serious non-conference schedule, i.e. 3 big name teams, then their crappy conference schedule.

As long as the BSc keeps skewing everything to keep the current system on place we will never know. I personally think either of these teams would have done far better against florida than Cincy did. It's obvious the powers that be don't want their bubble cracked or they would have paired these teams against BCS conference competition.

I was hoping for more of a shootout last night, oh well. Yeah, I really don't want to hear from Boise or their fans about how they deserve a shot. The WAC is always not so good, it was really bad this year. I have Boise fans all over my golf course today as we are near the stadium. I shall hide in my office so as not to get in an argument with a guest.

In all fairness the Fiesta Bowl gets to pick who is in their bowl. They all vote and whatever school is looking the best they will pick. It just so happens that Boise and TCU were free. Tostitoes is just trying to make a few dollars. They sold that place out and that was their goal. Had TCU been seeded one more up or down this game would had been against different teams.
Boise and Florida would have not been a good game. Florida and Bama are the two best teams in the nation. After Florida lost to bama I dont think anybody stood a chance in a bowl game.

After seeing the dismal way the SEC as a whole performed in bowl games this year I wouldn't assume they have the two best teams.
But anyway if you think the powers that be don't have control over who the bowls pick you are nuts. A few years ago the Rosebowl could have paired USC and Georgia which many experts thought were the two hottest teams at the end of the season and they didn't do it. Why? Because it would have been a bigger draw than the NC game and raise doubts about the legitimacy of the system.
