They got destroyed....The Big 12 has had their share of beatings from the Mountain West as well...OU vs. BYU this year. Colorado St. went 0-8 in conference but still beat Colorado from the Big 12. Hey man you prasied the PAC 10 like it was the greatest thing sinced sliced bread not me. You pounded your chest about that great bowl record and now they are getting hammered by a NON BCS conference. Then you make up excuses for why they got beat in a joke bowl as you call them. FLIP FLOP much? I even think you picked Cal to be in the national Championship. Big Fat FLOP on that pick. You are blinded by your conference. Yes they are a good conference from top too bottom. So what. Their middle of the pack can play with any other middle of the pack schools and sometimes a bottom feeder beats somebody. Stanford and Washington crapped on USC as well. What the hell is the difference? When is the last time somebody other than USC won a national Championship from that conference? That conference is Far from Elite. The only school worth a damn is USC. Thats it.

UNC and Vandy? Are you crack? PAC 10 blows the ACC out of the water. ACC is a joke.

It was in fact my Washington Husky's were the last National Champs in 1992. Jake Plummer's ASU team lost on the last play of the game in 97. Yes I picked Cal to be in the title game, it looked decent for a while, se la vie....I have always maintained the Pac 10 is the SECOND best conference, and this year it is the deepest conference. The SEC has 2 awesome teams and a bunch of decent ones this year. If the Pac 10 continues to do poorly in Bowl games, that will look worse, but the fact is the biggest experts on football are the guys that set lines in Vegas, and the Pac teams are favored in 5 or 6 Bowl games.
USC has dominated this decade, but since Pete came in, they would dominate any conference...In the 90's 7 of 10 teams won or shared the conference title, find another conference with that kind of depth. The 3 that didn't were Cal, Zona, and Oregon St., all have quality programs.
BTW are you not Mr. "I'm upgrading to a 500 gallon tank pretty soon", all of a sudden you downgrade from 150 to 75...Who is Mr. Flip Flop?

92 is so long ago. Come on now. SEC will have 3 different National champions this Decade. The Big 12 has had a couple different schools playing for the national championship this decade. Nebraska OU and now Texas twice. You all have had 1. Thats what this is all about. Nobody strives to get their ass kicked in the San Diego Credit Union bowl.
Im not saying the PAC 10 isnt a good conference. Its just not as good as you make it to be. Its by far not the second best. Its ranked 3rd and these bowl games are proving it. Moutain West is kicking the crap out of you all and is 3-0 in bowl games.
If you take USC out of the pac 10 what is the pac 10? Its no better than the big East. Decent Middle of the Pack schools with a cinderella every once in a while.
Let the PAC 10 allow Utah or Boise or BYU to join its elite conference. Then we will see that Conference become the best IMO.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, you are proving my point, not yours...It is very difficult to survive the Pac 10 undefeated, that's why they almost never play in the title game. Even USC only went undefeated once in this run....That's how it usually is in the SEC, BUT NOT THIS YEAR. That's why Bama and Florida (whom are both fantastic) went undefeated this year. I HAVE SAID THIS TO YOU SEVERAL TIMES, the SEC and Pac 10 have the best record in BCS games. Pac 10 has had 4 or their 10 schools win BCS games (can't say it's just USC) the SEC has had 5 of 12...The Big 12 is horrible in BCS (mostly due to O.U.).
The PAC 10 has 9 very good programs (WSU has been a joke since Mike Price left). You can't argue that.
Snakes huh....to each their own.

Don't forget, there is more to being in the Pac 10 than football...Utah and Boise don't have the acedemics for the Pac 10, and yes I'm serious, that is the reason.
Not sure about BYU, they measure up acedemically, but don't think they would leave.

well the Pac 10 got one. They were probably surprised a lot by how well BC played. It was a good game overall. I dont know if Knight would had made a huge difference.

Where would we be without your daily Pac 10 update.....B.C. had a good second quarter, they were completely handled in the second half in that slop they were playing in....USC even covered the spread.

Jacory Harris is fun to watch. He is a younger smaller Vince Young, the guy runs like a deer. Still hate The "U" though, go Badgers.

I damn near changed my pick on this game. Should have done it. Can't believe all the upsets this year. UCLA should have gotten beat too.

Honestly I've started recently listening to more rap/hiphop/rap-rock then before, geez us, one game on ESPN when they don't play "I am the Champion" 5 times, would be a welcome change.....

did any of you ctach that Idaho Bowling green game. WOW! Going for two with 4 ticks left to seal the win. Great ending. That game was fun too watch.
