Looks like Tennessee is gonna have a LOOOOOOOONG season,
A loss... i still guarentee that there are 2/3 loss teams ranked above the PAC 10... hard way to lose and i question P Fulmers decision to throw that kicker out there in very long field goal sitches...

A loss to a team with a 3rd string QB that lost to Utah and BYU last year, not to mention Notre Dame who I think had 2 wins for the season. New coach, only returned 10 starters, I figured Tenn was going to kill them. I forgot the game was even on and only caught the end but from what I saw of the replays they couldn't stop UCLA's offense except when the QB made a mistake.

They couldn't do anything even when the QB made mistakes. they were only up 7 at half after picking off 4 passes, one returned.
It was a good game though. Fun to watch, I like college football because of the stupid mistakes. But, either they both deserve to be ranked, or neither of them do IMO.

UCLA was the far better team in the second half, only reason Tenn was close was the 4 interceptions by the 3rd string QB in the first half....Bad lose for the SEC, though I think UCLA is going to be a lot better than people thought.

So, do you think anyone in the Pac-10 will beat out USC? Arizona St maybe? I don't think my ducks have a chance this year....starting QB out and all. Though I must say that once Roper (2nd string) was out in the last game the 3rd and 4th string were pretty good. I liked how they subbed for eachother every other play.

WVU all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if one person says something about there schedule im going to be mad. Yeah its an OK schedule not great but thats your SEC and Big 10 teams fault. We asked everyone and no one wanted to play us (we'll show them).

Dunno, Good to see Washington is back, The ref who called the celebration penalty should be shot but a good game other than that. Not sure if anyone in the pac is at SC's level or not. I am not sure if throwing the mean smackdown on a ACC team really means anything or not so I am waiting until the OSU game to decide if SC is for real or not.

USC is always good but if they played in the big12 or sec they wouldnt be ranked half as good as they always are

Yeah, at this point it's still a guessing game. I really don't think the Ducks can pull it off, but USC hasn't proven themselves yet. I'm guessing they go 1,2 in the pac.
Its nice to see someone else who thinks the Big 12 and the SEC are on an equal playing field. My Big 12 team sucks (Nebraska), but I still think the conference as a whole is stacked. 5 teams in the top 13, that is crazy! The SEC has 5 in the top 17 and 6 ranked overall and that is crazy as well! Is there another conference in college football? .........Just Kidding, USC, Ohio State and Wisconsin are good too......other than that though....but I'm biased so GO DUCKS!!! But we'll have to wait until conference play and then look at the rankings, only a couple of these teams have a chance at going undefeated, and I would speculate that nobody does this year.

SEC is 1, big12 is 2, big12 north is 3, then the pac10. its mostly over rated because of USC

Yeah, right. I can't ever remember when the last time was a team from one of those conferences beat SC

EDIT: I read big ten instead of 12, so Texas was able to beat SC by less than the blown call at the end of the first half when young threw a TD pass with his knees on the ground

After seeing how bad the ACC is doing I am a lot less impressed with SC's first game. Wisky might be the class of the big ten

I know I am going to be laughed out of here but I am a HUGE U of Illini foloowed by Northwestern. Both schools try to show that you need to be smart to suceed in the classroom to play on the football field.

Anyone happen to see the USF/UCF game by chance?(it was on primetime at 7pm on ESPN2 Saturday) Fantastic game if you watched the entire thing. In case you missed, UCF came up short by about this much in overtime: ___________________________

I've got to give credit to Miami for playing tough that whole game. I was suprised that UF didn't run away with it early. If Shannon keeps recruiting strong then UM will be back in no time! If UM plays that well during their ACC schedule they might be able to go to the title game.
