I have waited 16 years for this moment. To all the haters........

Anyone who ever doubted the Colts should keep quite and not say anything.
I can now die a happy man.....
Oh, in case you missed it.....here is the tattoo I got Friday night.

I have to give my props to the Colts they played a great game and the score didn't tell how bad of a beat down they gave my Bears. I hate losing the superbowl but I will give the Colts credit for one hell of a game and a beat down on both sides of the ball.

Yep, it was a heck of a game and I am very happy that the Colts won. He finally got the ring he deserves and now, no one can ever say that Manning chokes in the big game!
Rex Grossman on the other hand, might be out of a job. If I was Lovie, he would be. I don't know what they will do though. If I was Lovie, I might think about picking up a good back-up who will be on the market, like a Matt Schuab-type.
Also, just as a side note and reminder, if someone does not have something constructive about THE GAME to say, do not say it at all. Personal attacks are not allowed.

Then what was that about Rex Grossman? Are you just stating fact?

I wouldn't go that far to say he may be looking for a job. Given the weather conditions, bad things were bound to happen. They just ALL happened to happen to him...

Seriously, there were 3 botched plays IN A ROW.
- Missed extra point.
- Fumble on kickoff return.
- Fumble on next play (or was in an INT?).
Oh, and it didn't end there. The game was plagued with this stuff.
I think it will get looked over, and next year will just be a clean slate.

I was actually referring to personal attacks on SWF members. Of course you can talk about player performance in THE GAME. That is not a personal attack.
Also, Grossman has been having bad games all season. Let's be realistic, this was not one of his first bad games of the year.

OK OK LC...
Grossman's underrated IMO...he;s not SB MVP type yet but he's adequate.....the blame can't go on him for this lose this time....it was an all around bad defense and bad offense and just good play by indy on both side's and they deserved to win today...Congrats to them

Keep in mind on one thing - rain also played a factor with Grossman's poor performance. Handling a wet football after the snap in a downpour isn't pretty. I also noticed he was trying to make things happen - like throwing into double coverage on the long pass down the middle. Hats off to the Indianapolis Colts. They played a better game.

i didnt get to watch the game, i was working. so i cant say how bad rex played, but if you send him packing, who is going to start in his place? considering how bad the nfc was this year, the bears should be favored to at least return to nfc championship game, if not superbowl again. Is there a veteran qb available to lead them through playoffs?

thirty6... HUH???

if you are tryinig to say that th Bears should return... well the Eagles, Saints and Cowboys should have alot to say bout that... and of course my NFC pick every year... the Bucs!!!
i hope to see the Colts return to defend... and as long as the Bucs arent in the SB i hope they do... they are my 3rd fave team... (1st Bucs, anyone who plays the cryboys and then the colts...)
P Manning is now the greatest at QB ever... congrats on the ring Indy fans!!!

I personally didn't have much invested in this year's Bowl, but I was rooting for the Colts. Mainly because I'm from Milwaukee and thus have 2 favorite teams. The Packers and whoever is playing the Bears. On top of that, Manning really deserved this.

the eagles, saints, healthy giants squad maybe competition for them yes. of them, i give the saints the edge, as they probly should have won this years showdown. the cowboys dont have a coach and they have a cancer on the team named TO. but please dont be surprised by me saying they should return, they have a very good defense which played without one of its key players, a very good special teams unit, and several offensive weapons to build on. the dont have a qb, but didnt need one this year either.
of course, this does not take into consideration trades ect... the saints and bears were the two best teams in nfc this year and if you really want to include other teams how bout the seahawks and/or panthers did you forget about them too? if healthy. yes, i think they will be in contentiion next year again not sure they will go to superbowl, but they will be in contetnion.

I used to hate the Colts.... I was a Dolphins fan for like... ever. But it was in the year Jimmy Johnson was head coach (His last year with them) and they got beat in the playoff like 150 - Nothing (OK, maybe is was like 73-7 or something... can't remember, I tried to erase it from my memory) that I divorced the fins. (Subsequently JJ did too. He was like "F*$S this! I got better stuff to do than coach this looser team!").
Ever since then, I've rooted for the Colts. Me living in Knoxville, TN (where Peyton went to college) might have something to do with it.
I didn't follow the team much this year, so I don't know who all is retiring. What are their chances of a repeat SB appearance you think?
