No. Nassarius are the vultures of the reef world. They eat dead animals, not detritus. Cirratulid worms are a good detritus consumer.

I have two queen conches. The one form swf.com has a white shell. The one form my lfs has a green/white shell. The lfs guy said the white is tank raised and the green/white is wild caught. Seemed kinda fishy to me. Anyone?
I have had both for 2 onths or so and havnt noticed any growth. They move all around, on the glass, on the live sand, on the live rock, etc. What exactly is their diet anyways?

Yes, my blue legged hermits eat the leftover food and detitrus in my tank. As long as youd don't have a reef tank, a chocolate chip starfish is a good detitrus eater.

Bullshark - You can't tell anything from their shell color. It's a combination of diet, genetics, weather, etc.
FYI - 99% of the Queen Conch in the hobby are aquacultured.
The primary diet is diatoms. They will consume most types of micro algae and many types of Macro algae. They will also consume Cyanobacter.
If yours are not growing then they are either starving or your Calcium/Carbonate levels are out of balance. Most Queens starve to death within a year.
