I know dragonettes eat them. But no pics :(

they look like little tiny sand fleas kind of. I go the inlets and grab some grass and shake it in a bucket. With a battery powered air filter I can drive back home..This does feed Mandarin gobies. Most of them prefer this food and many starve in tanks without them....My mandarin is alive and well after 2 years because of this...He does not take brine at all...But I live close to the beach..IF you do not, you can purchase bunches of sea grapes which usually are filled with them..... :rolleyes:

not to change the subject but, are amphipods also good for your tank ? and do they serve the same purpose as a copepod ( a food source)? for instance for a manderine ? just wondering.

Amphipods are about half a cm long and are half moon in shape.
They are grey, do not like the light, and are found under and in rocks feeding on ditritus.
