Coral beauty behavior

I have a coral beauty in a 20 gl long qt. I've had it for just over 2 weeks. Now my last coral beauty, may he rip, was very shy. He always stayed close to his hiding place and then hid as soon as he saw anyone come towards the tank. This one is not shy at all. Always out in the open. Very much a fast swimmer. He almost darts around tank. He's not scratching or anything like that. He's a great eater, though he wasn't at first. But it just weirds me out that he swims so fast around the tank. Most times he will come right up to the front when I come over to watch him. Is he just stir crazy because the tank is only 20 gallons? There are lots of pvc pipe hiding places but he hasn't used them in about a week. All tank params are fine.
Thanks!

Mine is very active. He is constantly surveying every cave in my rock work and comes and peaks out at me from each hole. Every once in a while he relaxes out in the open, or lets me watch him, but pretty active. I would say if hiding places are there, and it is eating food, it should be good.

O its okay. I just bought a Beauty too and its almost the same way. It was a little shy at first but now its just so awesome to watch. I have a 50 gallon so i wouldn't worry too much.

Mine used to do laps in my 125g. he would start on one side and sprint to the other side( which is 6 feet), turn around and sprint back again. he did this till the day he passed away.

Thanks everyone for the input. I'm looking forward to transfering him to my 125 dt when qt is over. It's nice to have such an active fish instead of one that hides all the time.
