Here is a drawing I made of the back. The green is chaeto and the brown is LR. The blue arrows is the water movement.

Nice tank love it and your taste
How do you like it? I just bought the same one myself from ---- at like $425.00 shipped maybe less can't remember but know it was a steal and the reason I have one now! I love mine so far and had been eyeing this tank for sometime. We actually set it up Tuesday. Anyhow would you mind emailing me if you see this post, I have a few questions and mainly about the drawing above you posted.

Well, I haven't updated this thread in a while. I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is I lost a few SPS a while ago and I have a huge red slime and diatom bloom. The good news is all the other corals are doing perfectly fine and growing well, and I got rid of the red slime and the diatoms growth speed is slowing down. I also added a few more corals a while ago.

im interested in owning a biocube HQI someday and just want to know if you can get away with not having a chiller?
I set up my first tank, a 28 HQI, and ordered a chiller within a week. Unless you can live with 82 to 83 water, just bite it and get one. I got AquaEuroUSA 1/13 hp...bout 300.00, works great. It cycles every 20 to 30 min for about 5 min. I rigged a Maxijet 900, inline, and pulled from my sump and returned direct to tank as a power head. With my UV I now have about 850 gph in my little reef.
