i've never heard of a mossy chiton. i know of the fuzzy chiton though. i guess they are the same thing. most chitons are aggressive and carnivorous to anything. if its still in your tank i guess it must me safe. have you been able to get it to grow the algae on its back? i know hermits can chow on it, and yours looked bare. a pic of it growing its algae would be great.

That mossy chiton is freaking me out. What in the world...

chitons are an incredibly ancient species of snail. basically a living fossil. there are incredible algae eaters.

Hi all!! New Here.
Id have guppies for over 3yrs now and although they are freshwater fish (just for your info) guppies can stand 3 times more salinity than any fresh/brackish water fish. I have a brackish water tank for over 5 mos now with them in it and they r doing just fine.
