Wow. Your tank must be consuming a lot of calcium then. My levels stay in the 400's with it. Did you ever test it when you mixed it to see what the levels read on your freshly mixed batch.

Well Passover begins tomorrow night, I can't do anything until after. It takes 2 days for my RO unit to get enough water for the change and another day to mix. So I guess by the middle of next week I can get back to everyone about the mag level.
Take a sample of your new salt water before you do a water change, and take a sample from your tank, and test them both for ammonia at the same time and compare your results. Oops. I didn't read down far enough.
