Calcium hydroxide or Calcium oxide (KALK) mixed with water = Limewater.

I have 6 Diadema Urchins in this tank. They mostly stay on the back glass and chew the coralline off. I've been knocking them off the side glass for the experiment. I believe they have a lot to do with the growth rate by chewing the coralline and spreading it around due to their messy eating habits.
The growth starts as small dots, the dots then grow and merge.
