WOW I cant believe it. I scrolled through and saw a thread started by Bang. I figured wow its not often someone with that amount of experience gets stumped. Eagerly anticipating an interesting topic... Im speechless so sorry to hear of such an awe inspiring display take a turn for the worse. I too would be on board to donate a frag to your lagoon should you decide to start it up again. All the best....

I'm sure you could just clean up the surface and do as much of a water change as you can possibly do and turn on all the pumps again and let it re-cycle. I'm sure your live rock is still alive. Just need to get it all going again.
Bang, if you want - this is your opportunity to get out of the hobby too you know... But, like many of us, I am sure you are still addicted, just distraught.

i am a rookie and stumbled onto your thread. sorry about what happend to your pond.
Reminds me of the time I was invited in to eat with a family friend. When I asked what they were having, I was told southern fried possum. I suddenly remembered that I wasn't hungry, but replied that I had always heard opossum tasted just like chicken.
Apparently, in West Virginia, it goes great with grits!

From the one person on this Forum that has been nothing but great and truly of immeasurable help to me and so many others from the day I found this place long ago..........
I can only in part understand how terrible you must feel..........
Anything I have that would help in rebuilding is your for the asking Guy!.......You have helped me more over the years than I can measure........
Anytime scanning posting when I would see one of yous that is the first place I would go....SO sorry for the loss..........Warren
