My heater broke yesterday and I didnt realize it for about 8hrs .Will my coral be ok? Some look strange and some look okay .How much juice can they withstand (frogspawn, bubble and fungi look the worse.

I'm afraid I'm not really sure of an answer here. ON the one hand you would think, oh no there is current in my tank and now its doomed. On the other hand there has actually been a ton of research and experiments on using low voltage to stimulate damaged reefs.
First off I'd would suggest that you get a titanium heater. I have two, and although they may fail, they will never break. The only glass one that I use is for water changes.
I would get a fresh batch of carbon going, this will help to clean any secretions from the corals response to getting zapped, and also any metal that may have rusted from the saltwater.
Figure on a water change in the next couple of days.

well my fungi looks like patches now and I think my frogspawn is toast .Most of the coral affected were close to the bottom .

As Thomas suggested, the inside components of a heater can quickly contaminate a tank. Have you run carbon?
