Is there any kind of websites or anything someone recommends where I can read up on corals? im confused on what the different corals and wanna do research be I start getting any. thanks!

There's seven different forums on this website about corals and there's several books about it. "The Reef Aquarium" by J Charles Delbeek and Julian Sprung volumes one, two and three are very good books.

Hi, LOL...As Silverado said, THIS is one of those web sites.
The best way is to look on-line and find the corals you like...then you have a name to research. To just say I want to know about corals just won't help that much, since there are so many to select, and each with different care needs. I can tell you that there is a coral for every type of saltwater tank, from bright lights to no light needed at all. There are even anemones that don't require bright lighting.

I was pretty overwhelmed when I started learning about corals. I found that by lumping categories of corals together (SPS, LPS, and soft corals) it gave me a broad, general understanding of the requirements for them.
