Not to mention that the Cowboys have what use to be a pretty good place kicker, but no longer, look at how many he's missed this year alone. Colts will kick the Cowboys in the a-- !!! :cheer:

What does a guarantee from a homer fan even mean?
I guarantee that the Chiefs will win the Super Bowl not only this year, but next year too.
While any team can beat any other team on any Sunday, it's not likely that the Cowboys will beat the Colts. Manning is the best QB in football and I would never guarantee anything when he is on the opposing team.

Like i stated before my guarantee doesnt mean anything, but Ill have the satisfaction of coming to this thread sunday night when my guarantee comes through ....
I GUARANTEE the Chiefs wont win a superbowl within the next 20 years
Indydirk .... VanderJacked has only missed 3 fieldgoals.... Im a little puzzled
Thats like saying TO dops all of his passes ....allthough he leads the nfc in scoring (other than the kickers) even with his slow start. AND leads the league in 3rd down conversions.

Are you being serious here or are you joking around?
If you're serious, you really know nothing about football.
You may know your Cowgirls, but when it comes to the rest of the league, you're blind.

The colts can move the ball, but so can the cowboys , and the cowboys have one of the best defenses in the league.
The chiefs are in the same position as the cowboys except we have a strong future.... this cannot be ssaid the same for your precious queefes.

Somebody is going to beat those Indianapolis Colts here over the next seven weeks. The historical percentages say so.
So why not the Dallas Cowboys?
Seriously.
Sunday's meeting with the undefeated Colts, who will march into town waiving their 9-0 banner and led by the maestro himself, Peyton Manning, is being hailed as some sort of Mission Impossible for the middling Dallas Cowboys, who would appear to be in far over their heads, what with their 5-4 record and a history this season of not yet having won games in consecutive weeks - and they won last week.
The Colts have beaten Giants and Jaguars and Broncos and Patriots. The Cowboys, well, they have beaten Titans and Texans and Cardinals. The Colts, they have started off an unprecedented second consecutive season 9-0, and extended last year's season-opening win streak to 13, five more than the eight in a row they won in 2004, and two more than the 11 straight they won in 1999. The Colts know something about streaking.
The Cowboys, well, not so much. They can only boast of a five-game winning streak in 2003, the most consecutive games they have won since putting six straight together in 1994, which is fast becoming ancient history. In fact, when it comes to winning streaks, eight straight in 1977 is the best the Cowboys have ever done in a single, regular season.
Can't touch this?
Well, as Bill Parcells has said on many occasion, and I remember Jimmy Johnson echoing this coach-speak back in the day, there are ways to win these games, and someone out West must think the Cowboys have a potential way since the Colts are but a one-point favorite. What gives?
"I think teams coming in here know what we can do," Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens said, sticking up for his own offense since the Colts these days are the poster boys for offensive football. "They know we're potent, that we can be as dangerous as the Colts."
Now I'm sure there are a ton of reasons why the Colts should beat the Cowboys in this pushed-back 3:15 p.m. (CST) start at Texas Stadium on Sunday, but you know what, there are also a ton of reasons why the Cowboys can find a way to win this game, as ridiculous as that may sound to some who will issue long oratories on how the Cowboys lost by 14 to Philly and 14 more to the Giants and stumbled all over themselves at Washington no more than two weeks ago.

So allow me to count the ways:
Time's Up: While it might not be so rare for the Colts, long winning streaks in the NFL are. So are undefeated seasons, if you figure the last one occurred in 1972 - 34 years ago. I have this theory in the NFL that the more you lose, the closer you are to winning, and that the more you win, the closer you are to losing. It's all about the percentages. Two of Indy's nine victories have been by one point, including last Sunday's 17-16 one at home over the 3-6 Buffalo Bills. The Colts are due.
Home Sweet Home: Do you realize the last time the Cowboys played at home the Republicans ruled Congress? It will be 27 days. There should be 64,000 strong just chomping at the bit to get back into Texas Stadium, and for the majority, if not almost all, will be their first time to scream approval over Tony Romo taking over for Drew Bledsoe, which they only got a half-taste of the last time the Cowboys played at home. And since this is a late afternoon game, this should be a crowd "primed" to disrupt Manning's ability to change plays and call signals at the line of scrimmage. Forget Southern hospitality.
Ramiro's Boy: OK, we know all about "Archie's boy," Manning leading the NFL with a 104.5 quarterback rating. But do you realize Ramiro Romo's boy, Antonio, is second right now? OK, I understand he's only thrown 128 passes, nearly 200 less than Manning - but it says right here in the NFL stats he's the second-ranked quarterback with a 101.2 rating. No great divide, right? (Wink, wink.)
No Backseat: Been hearing all week how the Colts have the second-ranked offense in the league. Yeah, well, the Cowboys have the sixth-ranked offense. Know what the difference is? But 6.7 yards a game. That's nothing. And how about this: The Cowboys have the third-ranked defense. The Colts are 16th. So take that!
All Points Bulletin: Yeah, well those rankings might be about yards, but what about points? This Colts team scores beaucoup points, right? Not so fast there, buddy. The Colts have scored 249 points so far this season. Your Dallas Cowboys? Try 250. No kidding, look it up. They each average about 27.7 points a game. And defensively, not even close. The Colts have given up 189 points. The Cowboys, 174. So there.
Huge Spreads: Don't think just because the Colts have won nine consecutive games that they have been dominating this year. They win, no begrudging that. But of their nine victories, seven have been by no more than seven points. In fact, four have been by no more than three points. The only big wins have been over Houston, 43-24, and Washington, 36-22, and the Cowboys have done that. As for the Cowboys, well, would you believe all five victories have been by at least 17 points, as many 17-point victories in nine games as they've had in the past five seasons? Right on.
First Dowwwwnnnnn: This is rather incredible. The Colts convert a league-high 55.8 percent of their third downs into first downs. Man, a 45-percent rate is good. So getting them on a three-and-out is rare and just getting them to punt at some point would be a major accomplishment. But, guess who is second when it comes to third-down percentage? That's right, the Cowboys are, converting at a 49.2 rate. In fact, the Cowboys have converted 64 third-down opportunities into first downs while the Colts have 58 times. Go ahead.

Kick This: Hey, it's the Cowboys who have the NFL's all-time leading kicker now, not the Colts anymore. Yeah, yeah, the Colts have Mr. Clutch, Adam Vinatieri, who has made 17 of 19 field goals this year, and now has converted 82 percent of his career attempts. But the Colts no longer have Mike Vanderjagt, the NFL's all-time leading kicker. Nope, the ATLK is now property of the Cowboys, and so far he has made 12 of 15 attempts (one block and one-for-three hitting uprights), leaving his career percentage at 87 percent. No backseat here.
Dallas Tight Ends: Keep hearing all week about Dallas Clark this and Dallas Clark that, from the head coach and the players. Well Indy's Dallas has 24 catches for 303 yards and three touchdowns, not bad for a tight end. But Dallas' tight end, Jason Witten, has 36 catches for 425 yards and three touchdowns. See there.
Sir Shimmy: Colts got anyone who's ever won Dancing with the Stars? Huh . . . huh? Lenny Moore? Alan Ameche? Bert Jones? Johnny Unitas? Raymond Berry? John Mackey? That would be no. But the Cowboys do, Emmitt Smith dancing his way into American hearts over the past 10 weeks, the Cowboys and NFL all-time leading rusher, along with his classy partner Cheryl Burke, grabbing the shiny trophy Wednesday night. Yeah Colts, can't touch that either.
So yeah, the Colts have won four more games than the Cowboys. I know that, and that's certainly nothing to minimize, because winning is the name of the game in the NFL. They don't give you style points either way.
But the point is, there is no need for the Cowboys to shuffle their way into Texas Stadium Sunday in awe. There is no need for any aw-shucks humility in the face of Manning and the Colts and that 9-0 record. These numbers say there is some talent on this team, even if the 5-4 record would minimize such bold claims.
"The aura around the locker room this week and the aura around practice is, 'Let's go do what we do,'" Cowboys defensive end Marcus

[hr]
said. "You can't look at any team in the NFL and start doubting your own ability, just because they're 9-0 or throw for all these yards.
"We just need to focus on what we do."
There are two news signs propped up for the players to see when they leave the locker room this week. One reads: Who's The Real Deal? The other: Upping The Ante.
Pretty self-explanatory. Pretty obvious whose mind vitamins those are - just who is issuing a not-so-subtle challenge.
But while Parcells has been throwing bountiful bouquets at the Indianapolis Colts this week, if you have noticed, he hasn't exactly poor-mouthed his own team. And while he has warned his team of the Colts' goodness, don't you worry, he hasn't been selling his own guys short to their faces.
Because when asked if he's reassured his team it can play with the undefeated Colts, Parcells said, "I think they know I feel that way, I don't need to say too much about that."
Ain't it great, the undefeated Colts vs. the undaunted Cowboys, and it's almost game time.
And indeed, why can't the Cowboys touch this?

so my Bucs are due then...

sure you can have that theory... its basically proven itself...
its funny how commentators~or~analysts always bring up some stat and on the very next play~or~game the reverse typically happens... i.e. "(insert QB) has not thrown an interception in 300 attempts"... next play *boom* INT... but IMO what is overlooked is that these stats are brought up all the time at certain bench marks...
dont overlook the fact that the Colts won 13 straight last year and they beat 3 playoff teams weeks 9 thru 14... one of those teams went on to win the Superbowl...
you are right that it is nearly impossible to go undefeated in the NFL, but i would take the momentum of a winning team that has beaten formitable opponents...

TO also leads the league in drops! And I don't see what the power rating have to do with 9-0 vs. 5-4. The boys just can't out score the Colts, plane and simply. Romo hasn't been tested and the more games he plays the more film the other teams have. Give it time before you call him Troy.
I would much rather have Wayne and Harrison then TO and Glenn. The game may be close and if it is Vanderjack will choke, where Vinitari won't.
The Cowboys aren't even the best team in there division. You talk about a high scoring team and they can't beat the Skins. PLEASE!

The Colts are definately going to win. I just played Madden 2006 on my X-Box (5 min. quarters, hardest level) and won 156 to 24.
I think this may be the actual outcome of the game on Sunday.... :hilarious
