Crabs and Shrimp molting

When my crab (a sally lightfoot) and shrimp molt should I leave the leftover shell in the aquarium or take it out when I can get to it?

dont know if the molts create ammonia or anything, but i like to remove the shrimp molts out of my tank, just incase. I usualy find them caught on the powerhead

You dont have to remove them, it contains calsium which is very useful for your shrimps and crabs (they will eat it). I dont take the molt out and next day it dissapear

I keep it in b/c, as already stated, provides nutrition for my inverts.

I usually see my CBS eat the hermit molts. I figured someone else is eating the CBS molt.
