Crazy Frogspawn Growth

The first pic was from 4 years ago..when I first put a branching frog in my 55g.
The second was last year before I was forced to frag it.. The last pic is todays growth and I have fragged it countless times ( breaking branches off and placing in my 180g )
I can barely keep up with it. Constantly out grows my 55
Anyone else get this crazy growth out of theirs?

OMG that's awesome!! Normally, people have that type of problem with xenia or shrooms!!
Funny!
I had a hammer like that. It got up to 22 heads, then of course I go outa town and the breaker trips, but that was one of 8 that I lost. I loved it to! It was so pretty!

haha. Trust me, I hav e the same issue with shrooms...hairy started as 1 a couple years ago...and the striped started as 2 in my tank 4 years ago or so...now they cover the back of my 55 and everywhere else.
Strange thing is ...I dont dose my 55, I dont do regular water changes..I kinda let it do its thing....

Fantastic!
Surely a LFS will pay to get frags from you. Put an add in the paper or somethng and sell it yourself. A frog spawn frag with 1 head costs $60.00 here in Lake County Illinios.

Yah, I have broguht that up with a couple of the LFS in my area with no interest. Your right though, LFS in my area sell a branching with a couple of heads for $80.00. Not sure why they wouldnt want to buy from me locally and not have to ship them in.
I have put as much as I want in my 180...time to place a few adds!

I guess I shouldnt have posted how well my good ol' frog was doing. I just had a heater malfunction today. Yesterday 55 gtank was at 78...this morning was at 82 which I thought strange so I cranked the heater down. I came home tonight to 92!! Cloudy tank and this......
Everything looks like it will survive ( various softies , flame angel, yellow watchmen, sixline , perc & flamehawk ) but I am not sure about the frogspawn. They do NOT like higher temps or temp swings for that matter.
Well, 3 mad panic water changes later fan on, windows open...tank down to 81 now..
My heater was over 7 years old. TIP : CHANGE OUT HEATERS AFTER A FEW YEARS. Small price to pay.
I will post pics over the next few days..

Oh no, let us know how it turns out... I hope your tank & FS are okay, hopefully it wasn't too much of a shock.

Wow.. I just started reading that and got really excited about how beautiful your tank was and how beautiful that frog was... I'm really sorry to hear about what happened to it.

Well the frog is totally decimated. Chucked it out yesterday, every branch died. Softies not looking so good. If the tank doesnt recover, Im going to transfer what I can to my 180 and retire the 55g. ALL the fish sruvived, however I havent seen the sixline since it happened.

Well thats it. Broke down the 55 g today. Nothing coral wise survived. ( other than maybe some striped mushrooms ) and the fish. Transferred the fish to my 180g and some of the LR.
All this due to a faulty heater. Oh well, save on the power bill now : ) Only one tank to babysit.
