Your lucky this form is hear for you to cry on.
Give them a break! I bought from a company from Califorina and guess what no heat pack. Eighty bucks down the drain. Guess who I got to cry too, NO ONE. Give it a break

I honestly do not buy online, especially in the winter. I prefer the LFS because theres no $40.00 minimum price, no $30.00 shipping, and im supporting a small local chain. I go to a store Called V.I. pets, they specialize in fish(fresh and salt equally) ive always been happy with there selection and the advice theyve given me.

LOL...For those of us who have NO lfs anywhere close....sometimes online is how we live.....I wish I could see stuff in person first, but since I can not, I have bought 90% of my livestock and corals from here.....I am 100% satisfied with everything I have gotten, and the customer service I have received.
YES, I have received items that died, or even came dead....that is a chance I take with anything I buy....SWF has always stood behind everything I have had issue with.
My point earlier was....that I am sure this heat pack was not left out due to malice....I am sure it was just human error....and I am sure SWF will make it right.....with the amount of shipments that go out...I am sure NO ONE is 100% perfect

I agree with your previous posts, but the hostility you are showing for the OP is a little over the top. Sometimes it takes a little extra to be heard, they heard, their fixing it, now where is bang guy or PEZ to kill this thread?

I just recently ordered $300 worth of live stock and everything arrived in perfect shape. That was my first online purchase and I will be doing it again!
Plus, my LFS only has a 24 hour guarantee and most online places have a 15 day guarantee. When I first started, I bought a beautiful $60 neon green bta from my LFS and it kicked the bucket after 48 hours...so no replacement.

I am just a little concerned about the "fix it privately" privilege. would it not be in SWF best interest to show all on the boards how they handle a DOA situation and this one in particular

Thank you for all of your responses, I have been checking in and reading your posts, but was waiting for the situation to get resolved and for something for me to even comment on. Definitely thanks to Scott and swf.com for taking the time to listen and address my problem.
As for thinking I am getting special treatment for being a senior, I am not a senior at all. I am 27, if you notice my username the 82 is the year I was born, and 00 is the year I graduated high school. As for others of you that I won't even give a name to, you obviously weren't hugged enough as a child or something, why are you so mean?
In conclusion, we will be giving swf.com another try, and hopefully we will have a customer/merchant relationship for years to come. Thanks again!
