Ya had to move the cube and my 30g freshwater. That was like a little glimpse of being in hell. But fortunately moved it with out any travesties. Also I found out I had a little hitchhiker crab about the size of a nickel (saw my coral moving and was like wtf?). Also somehow one of my polyps jumped down to another rock I guess. Its a single polyp but it got onto a rock way far from the others. Now the rocks are in another placement that I just threw together but I think its good for now. The sebae anemone came with a clown that it was mated to, but it ended up having some parasite so I got rid of both of them. Gonna check parameters and maybe get some more corals this week. Also want to probably get a blenny and a firefish. But we will see. I'll try and post a pic of the new rock setup in the next day or so.

Wow thats too bad on the sebae. Oh well better to find out now that when its too late. Well you should post a picture of the new placement when you get a chance.
Good luck with the firefish, I got one a few weeks ago ; I could only get mine to eat arctic pods. Also I don't think he's around anymore. (I went to Omaha for four days this weekend and couldn't find him yesterday when I got back). I think the CUC removed any traces of him, or he's excellent at hiding.

So last night I go hijack my brothers camera (hes got the SLR and i have the point & Shoot). Get home take pics, only to realize my comp doesn't read his memory card. So pics are on the way as soon as I get over to his pad to use his reader.
As for your firefish, I think either the sixline scared his ass into the rocks, he jumped out and is hiding in your carpet, or he got murdered. They're all pretty probable. Do your fish stores in OC sell macro algae besides Chaeto? Someone on these forums had some sick macro stuff that really made the tank look realistic. I may try and cruise out there this weekend to check out some of the stores, what were you recommendations again, I don't know if I wrote them down. Thanks SoCal

So got an FTS, picture of my 3 amigos, and a really crappy pic of the random polyp that popped up on the right side of the tank.

Your Koralia's still look so clean! I gotta take mine out and soak em in hot water and vinegar this weekend, mine is completely covered in Coralline. Have you done anything to keep em that way, or just minimal algae growth so far? What about the back of your tank?

I have had more f'ing brown algae than corraline which sucks. I occasionally just wipe them off.
Sweet news, as long as this dude on a forum doesn't flake, i'm buying a used sunpod like marks'. I'm so stoked. And hopefully will go get some corals at those shops you told me about on sunday. This could be a very awesome weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'll def. post pics asap if i get new stuff.

OH yes, its here! Had to snap a pic even though its not turned on yet. Heading out to OC today to go to a real fish store and hopefully get some goodies. I'll post pics if I make some purchases. Gotta give Mark props for having a sick tank with this light, otherwise probably wouldn't have it. Thanks Bro!

250 online. Were you just running stock?
I went to Seaside tropical fish tonight, the place out in HB off of beach/atlanta. Holy s h i t they had a rad selection. The prices were a little higher than I hoped but damn they had everything. It made a mockery of the stores by me. I'll take pics of what I got and post them up tonight or tomorrow. I got 5 different things. Super excited right now while they are floating.

Thanks bro. The four frags are all on the left front in a sandy are and the torch is front and center stuck in a rock. I'll give a FTS tonight when I'm off work and the lights are on. I love the light so far, just sick colors! I just ordered new filter media too (cause I had that crap from the local fish store). By mid next week I will have Chamber one with Elite, Purigen, floss, and phosban, two with chaeto, and three with my heater and rio 6hf. Hopefully in a few weeks I won't need the phosban anymore due to the elite and purigen but I'm not going to take it out immediately (its super small anyway). I figured since buying a house is taking forever I can buy some corals hence my recent purchases. I would like to get a brain and a few other assorted things. I'm just gonna take some time to research and look at a bunch of places. Let me know any recommendations you have that are like under 30bucks or it can be more if they are big. Thanks for the interest and continued support and advice.

Good to hear. I've had the stock dual 18" 36 watt JBJ PC lighting that my tank came with. For the moment I have a single 12" 18 watt JBJ (stole from my freshwater) until I get a new ballast. Should be coming in today. I looked into MH lighting and it was like $360, and the lady at the LFS said I'd prolly need a chiller. So I decided I'm just going to replace my ballast. Everything seemed happy with what I had. Yeah, I like the seaside place. Coral Oasis in Irvine has even more coral. Tongs has a lot of brains, like you said you were interested in for future.

BTW your corals look sick. I like your torch. Can't wait to see it fully extended when it gets comfortable. (that doesn't sound right out of context, haha)
