I believe this to be coralline. And I too hate it. It is the hardest stuff to get off the glass, like needs razor blade to get at it.

I always use an old Credit card to get it off.. Works really good and dont really need to worry as much about scratching glass with it

Is it like a bright, lime green? I get that near the corners and sand. And yes I believe it is a corraline type as spanko said. Too bad it won't grow on the rocks.

Its def. not hair algae thank god. Haven't checked the phosphates lately but they went down a lot in the last month, near zero last time i checked. Its only on the glass usually near the bottom like Neil said.
Also does anyone know whats up with the inside glass looking waterspotted. It looks like a dirty window kind of but its def. not on the outside glass. Mainly only on the front of the tank.

So good news. After a few months of bullsh it house hunting the loan is approved and I should have keys to my estate in about 2.5 weeks. One last move for the tanks and then finally they will be in their permanent homes. Bad news is I won't be able to afford anything for a while but I'm glad where my nano is at right now (aesthetically speaking). Hopefully will set up a ato when I move it. Also thinking about breaking up a couple of my rocks into smaller pieces when i take them out for the move.
Sidenote: part of my green button polyps seperated from the master colony. Then that piece fragged itself into about 4 lil frag pieces. Its pretty awesome they just assigned themselves different parts of the tank. Gonna give one to a buddy and then maybe trade the others. If anyone wants to trade let me know. They should be a pretty good size by the time I move. Hope everyones tanks are doing ok in this hellish heat.

Not much bro just focusing on getting ready to move and all of the things associated with renovating a house (nothing major just aesthetic stuff but still a lot of things). The tank is doing well but no new additions. I'll post some pics of the blenny and the auto-fragged pieces of green button polyps. how's everything with your tank?

pics are balls but the first one is the blenny posting up in some rocks. Next ones are frags of my big green button polyp colony. Thre is one big one on the front center, one small one up on the rock with a big head and two small ones, and then a 5 headed one in the back corner, and a two headed small one right behind that.
