Date ideas, lets thing of something different

Ok, so a little back-story here: I'm a divorced single-dad, haven't really dated since the whole split 2 1/2 years ago and I met someone a couple weeks ago. We've been out a couple times and I want to come up with some date ideas that aren't the usual thing, but I haven't been out in so long I don't have too many ideas of my own. This is also a great place for ideas that anyone can use, so we'll be as general as possible.

Some quick ground rules, cause I don't wanna piss off the mods.

1). Keep it clean, family friendly.
2). I'm not really going to get too much into my personality, or hers. Plus, again, this way the list could be used by anyone.

3). If you're a millionaire and take girls out on your yacht regularly, or like to fly your date to

[hr]
for the weekend, that's all good, but I'm not the richest guy out there and I'm sure with the investment most people here make, they're not too rich either.
4). We all know that a nice dinner or a movie can make a (*cough*) decent date at times, when done right, so lets move beyond those.
5). Lets try
not to name specific business names that might operate in one location but doesn't exist on the other side of the country. It's tough, I know, but we can try.
6). Alcohol can be a nice accent to a date, but lets not use it as a centerpiece.
Start posting those ideas!

grin while the other girl lies there ----? I don't know. That is about all I'd do. Or laugh because in my head I'm imagining someone in an eastern accent going happy ending? I'm sorry, I don't know.

DON'T until you know her better.
1- you will lose your mancard
2- you cant talk to her there. Take her to places you can talk.
like the hershey gardens, Inner harbor in baltimore

You a week late, you could have taken her to the Pocono race. If she has a good time, you've found a keeper...

I'd find a local fair to take her to. The rides, fireworks, etc. are fun, playful and can be romantic. But you must win her a stuffed animal, no matter how much money it costs you.

What are her interests? How can you marry them with your own to come up with something unique to do that includes a little of both?
Oh yeah it's summertime too. Go to a park with something to throw on the grill there. Or a bottle of wine, some good crusty bread and some grapes, sit on a blanket under a nice tree and get to know each other more.
