Yeah spidey I may hafta visit you and let our goofy kids play together when I come up there

And m0nk, how far are you from Youngstown?? We can go clubbin' and find some femalage for you. All I gotta do is act like your MINE and the women see a challenge and voila!
Numbers all day long. But I guess you don't want chicks like that. But seriously, where you at?

Hehe, I'm not really able to pull the whole club scene off too well these days, I haven't actually been to one in a long, long time. But you've definitely got a point, the challenge oddly seems to be the end-game at times.

I'm in Camp Hill, Pa, just outside the capital Harrisburg. Where's Youngstown?

Oh, and what's a "femalage"?

Try one of the online sites. Having a kid, you'll be able to score a billion dates with single moms.

Meh, not big on dating sites. I'm not really into "looking", would rather just sit back and meet someone if/when it's right.
I'll probally just sink myself back into kung fu and forget about it for a while. Testing 2 weapons forms and intermediate level hand skills this summer so I'll be another step closer to black belt.

negative. Get back in the saddle.
You can meet some great people on the online sites. While not all of them are going to be perfect for you, you'll be able to find someone with the qualities you are seeking. Many professional people that have kids use these sites because there time is filled with work, kids, and household things where they cant get out and meet someone. They are looking to date a similar person in the same situation. It is much better then meeting mrs. perfect at church and then finding out she hates kids or has a job where you wouldnt be compatable. Just stay away from the ones that say they are seperated for 1 day.

Well, still not big on the sites. I have a friend who used match.com and the first guy she started seeing from there turned out to be a real weirdo after a while, so you get them anywhere you look. But I think I really should find someone who has a kid or kids of their own, that would make it easier to relate.

You know what is funny, my cousin (who has a masters degree and a professional counselor) did the internet thing, from somewhere found a guy and is getting married in August. I laugh.

Hey m0nk, you know US from the sight...

Internet meetups is not all that unreal considering the "relationships" made via these boards.
Femalage... I make up words. That should already be words, but for some stupid reason, their not.
Youngstown is about an hour from Pittsburg, but it's in Ohio. Right in the north east.

People are people no matter where you meet them. Used to be sights were frowned upon cause they were reserved for the weirdos or the ugly, but in today's day and age, it's not all that uncommon to go from work to home. That's it.
Not to much in the way of clubs, church, extracurricular stuff anymore. Heck I haven't even seen a BLOCK party in my adult years.
I don't even KNOW my own neighbors... nor do I care to, but it's common these days.
m0nk, internet meetups is equivalent to a blind date if you ask me.

I guess that's a pretty good point, and perhaps I should clarify my view...

I'm not into paying a site to find me a girl.
I'm certainly happy with the idea of meeting someone online through a forum or something, I just don't want to pay to do it. That's just me and I definitely applaud anyone who does it and it works.

You are looking at it the wrong way. Look at it as in investment. You are buying an option to talk/email/contact another person. If you continue to view it as a negative, then nothing good will come from it. You can go the 'free' route, but be prepared to find more of a 'free' crowd. As with everything in life, you get what you pay for.
BTW, i met my sexy, beautiful GF on one of those sites. We are getting married sometime next year. She was busy, i was busy, but now we are busy together
