ordered a pretty big order with swf. order was delayed by over a day,( no fault to swf!!) pretty much everything died, just curious if anyone has delt with anything similiar and if swf was good with resolving the prolbem. Ive only heard great things about swf, being a new customer and kinda new to salt water. dont want to keep spending if this is a common occurance. $300 is not something i can just throw around these days. Any feedback would be great!! Thank you

I have placed MANY orderd with swf, and I can tell you they stand behind everything...
Did you place your ticket request....I believe DOA's get refunded, where something that dies at home you get a credit.

yeah i placed the ticket request 10 pics of everything that arrived doa. It just stinks cause ive been looking for a specfic type of tang, and swf was the only one that had it and shipping was great. well see, everyone i talk to say never order off line blah blah , and the one time i do this happens. funny huh

Sorry to hear what happened though..I have had Fed EX delay a shipment because the connecting flight was missed

FYI....When a shipment gets delayed, and/or all items are received DOA.....they either credit or replace the whole order....INCLUDING THE SHIPPING

oh yeah def. i took atleast 10 pics of everything that arrived doa sent emails of what didnt make it ect. what i was surprised with on a side note is that the star fish survived and pretty much nothing else did. cause i know that star fish are reallly touchy with temp and water

thats odd because there was someone else onhere with the same problem a few weeks ago and they said they were supposed to pay the shipping again.hopefully this op is taken care of.

i hope so, cause that will kinda stink if i have to shell out more money. well see monday if i get my calls and emails answered i just hope it goes smooth cause this is a really cool web site with alot of stuff that i cant find up in the crappy north! might as well move to florida

Alot orders that went out Thursday were delayed. The plane from Florida missed the connection in Memphis. I received my order Saturday and only lost a few things but I know SWF stands by their guarantee so no worries.

I'll never order from here again! Spent 200$ on some LR, And it came with over a dozen ANTS in the cooler! Yep, Ants! Emailed them twice, And never got back to me, Just to say sorry, And we'll look into it..Not good in my eyes!!

ok...Ants? how on earth can you blame SWF.com for ants?? and unless they are fire ants, who the heck cares about 12 ants???

I agree. I'm in the pest control business so I know that ants are everywhere. If they smell some good (dying) food in a box then they're going to crawl into it. Once you go through the process of curing your rocks then they'll be floating to the top and you'll scoop them out. Nothing to complain about and certainly not a reason to "never order from here again!"
As far as the delayed flights/DOA livestock: That's obviously a blame towards the people who have shipped the package and not swf.com. I'm sure you're not the only one this has happened to and it's probably why it's taking a while to get to your order. You won't be forgotten I'm sure.

Ummm, Maybe the fed-ex driver unwrapped the box and untapped the cooler and threw them in there!
