yeah its too much light. I wouldnt recommend anyone doing what i did. The reason why I added the 150watts because well it came from my 24gal nano cube. I onlyh turn on the metal halides for1hour so far and the 24watt pc are on for 10hours

Were there any corals that you lost or gave away, other then the brain coral since you've had your tank up and running?

I gave away the leather because it was massive. I should have fragged it before I gave it away. I traded the fox coral because it was also huge and other corals were stinging it. I don't have much room in my tank, so I really can't have large corals. I had to frag my frogspawn a few times because it grows so fast and takes up a lot of room. When I start putting corals into my 30 I am going to get a green fox coral, brains and a leather for sure!

I'm sooooooooooooooooo happy I'm trading in my cube master for a 14 gallon biocube! I'm going to modify my hood with metal halides from nano tuners (later on) tomorrow is the big swap, so I will post pictures then...I think I'm going to change the aquascape completely (maybe) I like the way it looks now.

yeah my fox coral was big but I was able to wedge it in my rock. You may have to do some more aquascaping to fit it in. I ended up trading it because it was just to big for my little tank.

I bet your lights are to strong. They are considered a low light coral. Mine did great in my tank because I have really low lighting . There isn't much you can do.Try placing it mid way up the rock and to the side.
What kind of lighting do you have?

Hi Pete, I actually was thinking about emailing you. I wanted to say I'm sorry because I haven’t had any time...a lot of work and school...sorry I'm really not flakey lol. You know what? I could have my bf drive over there. Just give me a week (finals for us). I'll call you up.
I'm glad your posting pics soon. I haven’t seen your tank in forever!
