Yeah Atlantis.. i love that place.. they have sooooo many sps.. as for the shrimp.. i have been feeding them legs of a chocolate chip star till they starts searching for stars on their own (I have a ton of those hitch hiker little stars)
They are in my 29g bio and i do 3 gallon water changes on it every sunday so my water qaulity should stay pretty good. (hopefully) plus its only just a tiny little peice of starfish and the shrimp eat up most of it..
ps. Anyone going to the coral farmers market thing in Fremont?? the guy at Atlantis said its pretty cool
the owner of new alameda aquatics was telling me about that. I don't think I'll have time to go, but it sounds pretty cool. The guy from new alameda saves his nicest corals just for that... and trust me he has some awesome stuff!

bad news... I'm taking down my tank and leaving the hobby for a while.
so everything is going to be up for sale.
LAUREN!!!~ You've GOT to be kidding!! HAHA, right????

You CANNOT leave the hobby for any length of time!~

I know that it can be, well, it IS a very expensive hobby, but look at the rewards....

You have totally inspired SOOOO many people, myself especially, into the "wonderful world of nano tanks". You were always there to help anyone and everyone, no matter how many times you answered the question previously. I have learned so much from you!!

I am extremely sad that you had to make this decision, but I do understand.

I hope that you will continue to at least stop by and visit the forums to encourage, support and continue to inspire us.

Best of luck to you, Lauren, and HURRY BACK!!!!!~~

Hey, if you have everything up for sale, can I buy your coco worms and your blue clove polyps (arctic blue snowflakes) if you still have them??

I know that your rics, yumas and zoas are going to be in HIGH demand!~

i totally understand and im not trying to make u feel bad but we will miss u

U inspired me to get my tank and not only that but try my best at planning it and im also guessing that ur pom pom crab was the reason i got into inverts.
yea if u are willing to ship i would love to split with kat over some of the coral and u would always be able to get frags back from us=P
Hit me up if i can buy some stuff from u.

Hey Lauren, how long did it take for your Picasso's to eat?
Day 2, they act like they're hungry, but they won't eat. When I put my frozen mixture in (mysis and brine plus soaked in garlic plus and AminOmega vitamins) they start swimming around, but it's like they don't recognize it as "food". They are hit and miss with the ORAGlo. Sometimes they will catch it midair, but if it touches the sand, that's it, they won't touch it. They have hardly eaten much of anything for me to be satisfied that they are getting enough to eat.
I know that it's only "Day Two" and maybe I should give them more time... but, you know.... they're babies, so I want them to eat and stay healthy!~

Were yours like this too, or did they eat right away?

Don't worry! They are still a little shocked from shipping, but they will come around. Mine nibbled at the food for about a week until they decided to actually eat.

What happened to my comment here ? i said I wanted to buy everything and it is gone. I am also looking for the other post you stated you were selling everything in and I told you the same thing that I would buy everything. That whole thread has disappeared. How about letting me know if you are or are not interested in selling it all at once as opposed to selling them all individually. I would certainly appreciate that. Thanks.

As I told you before, I need to figure out how much everything costs. There is someone, who is local to me, who offered to buy almost everything... I mentioned before that I would prefer local pick up, so if he wants the tank he can have it, otherwise I'll have the prices figured out by tonight.
