I'm using a Canon Rebel XTi with the standard 55mm lens. The trick is turning off all the pumps and using a tripod. If you do that, any camera will give you clear pictures.
i just bought a tripod after reading this post. i go on vaca next week, so while im home i can turn off the pumps and take some pics........

DeMartini, you have the hottest tank I've ever seen in forums! I've followed your ADA reef from the beginning but it's only now that I can get over the Aw! and post a comment lol:p!

Lauren,
Just wanted to say the new nano looks absolutely amazing. I haven't been on the forums in forever so I had no idea your old one broke, or that you had a new one going. Too bad I didn't get to follow this from the beginning but I still went through every page. Keep up the good work!

What's your photoperiods? And do you think a 250W MH is a overkill for a 20 gallon 16 inches deep?

thanks so much for the really nice comments <3
ocyoo, I leave my lights on for about 8 hours each day.
That may be a little too much light unless you want mainly SPS.

I love the color contrast on this coral, the yellowgreen base with the purple polyps. Beautiful Lauren!!!!!
