hey. looks great. i was wondering what light system does it have? and wow it has a refugium to
It uses 2 combo Power Compact lights, and has moon-lights already installed also. And yes it has a built in refugium and Refugium light, skimmer, and everything in the tank slides in and out in its own canister, so it's very simple to maintain. I paid $89 with free shipping straight from
Aqua-Medic. Other shops sell them for $250-$300. With the money I saved on all the upgrades I bought the Aqua Euro CL-85 chiller/heater.

did you buy the tank from them? and did you receive it ok?
Yes I bought it from the link i sent you. It says aquarium something but its really AQUA-MEDIC.lol
Yes everything came in perfect. the packaging they use is amazing. The only reason they sell them so low is because of a small plastic pice that broken. I drilled the other peice off and used two small screws to secure the top. very easy fix only costs about $1 in parts at HOME-DEPOT. First mod I made was to make the vent holes bigger. Next I seperated the moon-lights and PC Light wires so i could add the Timer.

Well for starters, everything works perfect. The design was made for the REEFER. So there is No need to buy all the extra stuff. And no need to have to glue ugly pieces of acrylic to make seprate chambers.lol
The reason I made the vents bigger is to reduce the heat that every Bio-Cube, Nano-Cube, Nanowave etc... makes due to it's closed lid. Thus saving me some money on the power bill because my chiller/heater wont have to work as hard to maintan the temp. There is nothing hard about doing any of this. My litle brother is 15 and he did the vents on his own after i showed him an example of what I wanted to do. The Timer fix is also very easy. All you need is a 18 gage power cord, they sell for $2 at best buy, radio shack, and frys. Some electrical tape if you dont know how to soder, a

driver, a beer, and another beer.

DAY 3.
NEW SHOW PIECE ROCK and Blue Tang (baby).
Below are pictures of the show piece at the LFS tank and then in the NanoWave-9.
It only took about 30 minutes for everything to open up again once i placed it in the NanoWave-9. Which leads me to believe that all my levels are near perfect. YEAH

I like your tank, but having a Blue Hippo in a 9 gallon even temporarily is a tough sell. I would be worried about introducing ich into the 9 gallon, not to mention it is not very humane. Hopefully it gets put into your large tank sooner rather than later.
