Diatoms or Cyno?

Will the cold air outside have any effects to the test? Like:
Take the water sample and airpump/stone outside and run it for an hour. Bring the water sample inside and wait for it to warm up and then test the pH? Run the other test in the house for an hour with the airpump/stone for an hour and then test the pH?

Furnace set to 70 but it works on a +/- 3 degree thing. So on average the temp is 68. Outside i think its 15.

The article calls to setup the water and bubbler outside the house first to ensure that the pH goes up. That gives you a target to shoot for. Then take another bucket of water and setup the bubbler inside the house. If the pH goes up the same then the problem is CO2 -> O2 exchange. If it doesnt go up as much, then there is excess CO2 in the house and would be best to pipe in fresh air from outside somehow.
